In this unique fiber artwork I express my love for the sea along with my worries for its present and future state. While the protagonist of the scene is a plastic bag and on the left there is dead coral reef (white), I still tried to give a joyful twist to the composition. Because hope is always last to die, and because nature will be able to thrive in a way or another in the aftermath of a mass extintion.

For this picture I used both wet and dry felting techniques. Don’t hesitate to ask more about it!

The felted painting will be delivered with a 3mm thick MDF board of the same size upon which it is mounted thanks to adhesive velcro strips. The artwork can be easily removed from its support.

All of my felted work is treated with essential oils in order to prevent moths from laying eggs on it.
