My husband chose to paint this subject while we were wandering in nature in the german Eifel National Park. the scene did not really speak to me till I felt the sensuality of those two trees, leaning onto each other in a tireless constant embrace. Like lovers caught in an intimate exchange, the trees recounted a story of passion and patience that I did my best to translate on paper.

For all my paintings I use only light-fast colours, which means that they are guaranteed to maintain their vibrance in time.
