Panpastels, soft pastels and pastel pencils on Pastelmat paper

70×50 cm. Framed–> Light rounded, blue mat aluminum profile frame. 2 mm thick glass surface.

Dreamy water landscape painted after a summer hike to the Swiss lake of Blausee.
For this pastel painting I drew inspiration from the water surface of this crystal clear lake. The light pierced the water and the transparency was almost total. Fish were swimming in liquid air.

For my paintings I use only light-fast pastels, which means that the colours are guaranteed to maintain their vibrance in time.
