Soft and hard pastels on Sennelier La Carte Pastel paper

Waves were my childhood companions in the long summer months spend in Sardinia. Most of the time covered in salt and sand, I felt one with those stunning rocky landscape. Far away in time and space from that era of my life and the places that characterized it, I still can recall the smell of the sea and the sight of the harsh sunlight piercing those ephemeral wind-made walls of water.

For my paintings I use only light-fast pastels, which means that the colours are guaranteed to maintain their vibrance in time.
